Striving hard for campus placements,
Nights were shorter than usual,
Kneeling to convey loads of prayers,
I desired for a successful day’s start!
Being dressed up in formals,
It was my first interview ever.
Like the early dawn’s fresh sky,
My thoughts stood cozy clear!
Built with tonnes of confidence,
The credence of my talents peer,
Revising the important concepts,
I took a deep breath to relax!
With knowledge and competency,
I caught up the last round.
With right attitude as fin to swim,
I climbed the cliff like hound!
Howbeit, results remained precarious,
Tension with eager expected heyday!
The HR came out with selected list,
I was shocked to know am knocked out!
I was depressed and left with tears,
This moment my mind spoke to my heart!
“Nothing dries sooner than tears,
You have many chances to clear,
Its not that you are dropped here,
They don’t deserve you dear!”
“Don’t let your confidence out,
Always give your best shot,
It will print your success and honesty,
In the world’s history, to feel pity!”
Now I was happy to prepare again,
That is why I have been selected to gain!
